Each book is as individual as you are. As you read further,
you will begin to formulate ideas of what you want to do.
While some people write many stories, others simply fill a
book with photographs and tell the how, why, when, and where of the people in
the photos. And thus little stories are woven together.
Other people do a book filled with
genealogy charts and add a
short introduction of a particular family line.
Some people fill their book with recipes, poems they wrote or
liked, documents they treasure, thoughts they had, and include photos of family
members and of valued items in their home. They feel such a book is
representative of who they are. See
color
photos of covers and
Hard
& Soft Covers for details to give you a starting point as you envision the book you
would like to do.
Other people write a few pages on the various family members
or topics that are important to them, and they may invite other family members
to do the same.
Read the material that follows, and then consider what seems
reasonable for you to do, given your particular time, energy, and resources.
There is no reason why you cannot do something for your
family that they can treasure forever.
