DEDICATION

This book of remembrance is dedicated to my mother Marva Nielson Parsons and father Aaron Earl Parsons who raised me during those hard depression times of the 1930s to the better times in the 1950s; teaching me dedication, responsibility, hard work and respect for all people. They were always tolerant and supportive in helping me become an active citizen of the community of Monroe, the State of Utah and also our Great Country.

The following is only excerpts of my life as I remember them during my 78 years on this earth. If I could live my life over I would not change a single part of it. Because I choose to marry the love of my life, I would be amiss not to include Connie for what success has come my way, without her understanding, patience and support I could not have had such a wonderful relationship while remaining here in Monroe. I also acknowledge Connie’s parents Andrew S. and Minnie Louise Morrison for their love and support they contributed to our families.

  Introduction

This book is written from my own memory some 78 years after the fact. Some of the history may be considered politically incorrect today as we have entered into a world of "political correctness" at this time. I hope this information is held with understanding because this is how it was. I also hope no one takes offence because I have missed someone or something, so I ask forgiveness for any lapses of my memory.
